WASHINGTON (AP) — President Joe Biden is racing into yet another battleground state Wednesday, continuing to push a contrast with Donald Trump on economic policy as his own reelection campaign readies a new $14 million advertising blitz aimed in part at Black, Latino and Asian American voters.
Biden is traveling to Racine, Wisconsin, where he'll highlight a decision by Microsoft to build a $3.3 billion data center that is expected to create roughly 2,000 jobs.
The Johnstown Masonic Temple held their 5th annual Toys for Tots drive on Saturday.
Toys for Tots is a program run by the marines that distributes toys to children whose parents cannot afford to buy them gifts for Christmas.
The participating marines noticed a shift this year, stating that the amount of families in need has only been increasing compared to years past.
“Compared to last year we’ve noticed about a 50% increase in the amount of children we’re helping,"
CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — Sometimes dreams don't always turn out the way we envisioned.
Altoona native Jimmy Mowery was on his way to achieving his dreams of making it big in the music industry competing on NBC's “The Voice.”
Mowery had gotten two chair turns during the show's blind auditions and beat out thousands to make it onto the show.
But the votes weren't in his favor. Mowery didn't make it past the top 24 and was sent back to his current hometown, Myrtle Beach.
ATLANTA (TND) — The woman accused of trying to set the Georgia birthplace of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on fire has been identified.
The Atlanta Police Department said in a news release that Laneisha Shantrice Henderson, 26, was arrested and charged with attempted arson in the second degree and interfering with government property. Henderson was taken to Grady Detention for evaluation and will be transported to the Fulton County Jail.
