Huntingdon Co., PA (WJAC) — The Pennsylvania Department of Corrections says an employee at SCI Huntingdon is facing charges after being caught on video engaging in sexual acts with an inmate. Authorities say 52-year-old Kimberly Danfelt, of Mapleton Depot, is charged with one felony count of institutional sexual assault, according to online court documents. Officials say Danfelt, who worked as a "garment factory foreman," was under investigation after authorities suspected her and a male inmate of smuggling contraband into the prison.

MACON, Ga. (WGXA) — Almost a month after four inmates escaped from a Georgia jail, a third individual has been captured. On Sunday morning, 37-year-old Johnifer Dernard Barnwell was found inside a home in Augusta. Officials said large amounts of drugs were found in the house, suspected what is to be meth, fentanyl, heroin, marijuana and cocaine. The drugs have yet to be tested in a lab. This leaves just one inmate, 52-year-old Joey Fournier, who is still out there.

THE LATEST |Somerset Co., PA (WJAC) — Somerset County coroner Cullen Swank has identified the victim of Monday's fatal mining accident in Conemaugh Township. Swank says 37-year-old Brandon Frederick, of Johnstown, was killed after he became trapped between a shuttle car and a mine rib. Authorities say Frederick suffered multiple blunt force and crushing injuries to his torso. The coroner's office has ruled his death as accidental. 2nd UPDATE |Officials with the Department of Environmental Protection say they have ordered the operators of the Maple Springs Mine in Conemaugh Township, Somerset County to temporarily cease operations following Monday's workplace fatality.

2nd UPDATE |Mifflin County, PA (WJAC) — State police say a 57-year-old man was killed Tuesday afternoon in a construction zone crash along Route 522 in Mifflin County. Troopers identified the victim as Dwayne Grove. Police say a 54-year-old man was also injured in the crash. The incident closed a stretch of Route 522, from the Mifflin County/Huntingdon County line to Jacks Mountain Road, for several hours. Troopers say no further details are being released at this time and PSP Lewistown is continuing to investigate the crash.
