NEW YORK (AP) — A federal jury was alternately introduced to Bob Menendez as a bribe-taking U.S. senator who betrayed his country and an American patriot Wednesday as a prosecutor and defense lawyer delivered contrasting visions of the once-powerful Democrat at the start of his New York corruption trial. Central to the openings from both the government and the senator's advocate in Manhattan federal court was Nadine Menendez, a woman he began dating in early 2018 before marrying her two years later and moving into her Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, home.

Windber couple wins $10,000 during local scavenger hunt hosted by "Moneyman"

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WJAC) — The mysterious local man known as “Moneyman” held his latest scavenger hunt this weekend with a prize larger than even before. Windber natives, Austin and Ashlee Seese came in first place, winning $10,000. Over 150 cars with teams of two, participated in Moneyman’s scavenger hunt on Saturday. After spending nearly 12 hours looking for clues across the Johnstown area, the husband and wife team found Moneyman at the Inclined Plane.

Burlington department store coming to Altoona this fall

ALTOONA, Pa (WJAC) — New Jersey-based Burlington Stores Inc., a nationally recognized "off-price" retailer, announced that it will be opening a new location this fall in Altoona, according to a release. Company officials say the new location will be at the Park Hills Plaza. Burlington Stores offer everything from clothing to home decor, the release adds, and each store features new arrivals every day. The company also stated that it will be implementing social distancing and other safety guidelines.
