JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WJAC) — Something new is coming to Johnstown. On Tuesday, the Pennsylvania Department of Health issued 23 medical marijuana dispensary permits. Two of those permits were issued for dispensaries in the city of Johnstown. Franklin BioScience – SW LLC and Harvest of Southwest PA LLC will both receive permits as part of phase II of the medical marijuana program. Right now, the closest medical marijuana dispensary to Johnstown is Herbology, which is about an hour away in Altoona.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — A Dollar Tree employee in Northwest Ohiois dead after being murdered with a machete while working on Sunday. The incident happened just before 4:30 p.m. EST on New Year's Day. Police said they were called to the store after a man was spotted waving a machete around inside the store. Officers arrived and found a cashier, identified as 22-year-old Keris L. Riebel, dead. Authorities charged 27-year-old Bethel M.

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa (WJAC) — Penn State University Police are investigating a reported sexual assault that occurred over the weekend at the East Halls residence complex, according to a campus-wide timely warning. Authorities say the assault occurred early Saturday morning, between 3 and 3:30 a.m., by a known male.
