RIDGWAY, Pa. — A trial began Wednesday for an Elk County man accused of stabbing and killing another last year. Harvey Detterline III, 37, of Byrnedale, is accused of killing 29-year-old Richard Hicks after locking him out of an apartment in Johnsonburg Aug. 16.
