Feds called in to assist Mica Miller investigation in South Carolina

(WPDE) — UPDATE: Mica Miller estate documents claim abuse, attempts to hide assets The Robeson County Sheriff's Office announced Monday that it had requested assistance from the United States Attorney's Office and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in South Carolina in the Mica Miller investigation. In a statement released Monday, the sheriff's office said they have been in contact with both agencies since the early stages of the investigation.

Johnstown Motel set to be condemned

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WJAC) — The Towne Manor motel in Johnstown has been condemned by city officials for what they call poor living conditions. The legal notice was posted on the motel doors Monday afternoon and now residents have just forty-eight hours to leave. About a dozen people have been staying in The Towne Manor motel - just off route 56 in downtown Johnstown. “Almost everybody in here is homeless,” says Jeff Crowder who currently is a resident of the motel.

Officials say Crumbley was 15 years old at the time of the Oxford High School shooting in Michigan on Nov. 30, 2021, that killed Madisyn Baldwin, Tate Myre, Hana St. Juliana and Justin Shilling, and injured seven others. Crumbley pleaded guilty to all 24 charges in Oct.

Mentored Youth Trout Day draws families to the water

Saturday was Mentored Youth Trout Day across Pennsylvania, giving kids and a mentor an opportunity to fish a week before trout season begins on April 6. Some parents that took their children fishing Saturday said it was an opportunity to bring something that was a bright spot of their childhood to their own kids. "Trying to build some of those memories that we did when we were younger," Nathan Kozen said by Lake Rowena with his daughter, Lilly.
