The Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association made some changes this week to how they will determine athletic classifications.
1-A through 6-A classifications are counted by a school's enrollment or number of students.
Until now, when making classifications, the PIAA only counted 10% of students that lived in the school district but did not physically go to that school for athletic enrollment.
Now, they will factor in all cyber, charter, home schooled, and vo-tech students towards that number when making the classifications.
