STOYSTOWN – A Somerset County man was fatally injured Saturday while trying to dismantle a car trailer at a local business, authorities said. Somerset County Coroner Wallace Miller said 55-year-old George Swauger was trying to dismantle a trailer at Stoystown Auto Wreckers just after 10 a.m. Miller said Swauger was cutting away one of the support beams when a ramp came down and hit him. NEW YORK (TND) — Oscar-nominated filmmaker Morgan Spurlock, known for eating only McDonald's for a month in "Super Size Me" has died. He was 53. UPDATE | CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — Authorities say a Cambria County man drowned early Monday morning in a pond in Carrolltown. Crews were called just before 4 a.m. The Cambria County Coroner's office says a dive team recovered 42-year-old Eric Bender just after 5 a.m. Officials say that pond is about 10 feet deep. They say Bender lived about 100 yards away from the water. Lees says Bender was taken to Conemaugh Miners Medical Center Emergency Room and couldn’t be resuscitated.

Palm Beach Maritime Academy Secondary Campus believes they are the first school in the county to do something like this. The school year is almost over, and students will soon start their summer break.
